The Partnership
The Climb West partnership of companies provides comprehensive services for climbers, climbing clubs and other organisations involved in climbing in the SW. We can provide advice, equipment, training, instruction, guiding, coaching and facilities mangement. Whether you are an individual who wants tailored training and instruction, a universtiy climbing club which wants cheap equipment and basic instructional courses or a local authority which would like us to manage a climbing wall on their behalf - Climb West can provide it.
Objectives
Promote climbing as an exciting and challenging activity that appeals to all.
Actively support the expansion indoor climbing in the SW.
Encourage individuals to experience the variety, adventure and exhilaration of outdoor climbing in the South West.
Operate in an environmentally sound and sustainable manner whilst supporting the local community.
 Services
A full portfolio of instructing, training, coaching and guiding services.
Suppply climbing equipment and technical advice to clubs, groups and other organisations.
Support the introduction of new climbers into the sport through our network of links with organisations across the SW.
Assist organisations involved in sports promotion and outdoor education to integrate climbing into their plans for delivering sports participation.
 Schools and Youth Groups
Provide everything from a 'one off' climbing session to a structured programme over months or years.
Introductory climbing and abseiling sessions.
Training and assessment of teachers and volunteers to supervise climbing.
Delivery of the National Indoor Climbing Acheivement Scheme and Climbing as part of GSCE Sports Studies.
Organisation of outdoor climbing and bouldering trips throughout the SW and UK.
Organisation of overseas expeditons.
Climbing Clubs
Supply of climbing equipment at group rates.
Provision of appropriate and cost effective training sessions for all abilities.
